    Mide Candles was born from a deep love for scents and the power they have to transform a space. Our journey began during lockdown, where a passion for fragrance turned into a business dedicated to creating high-quality, handcrafted candles and home scents.

    Mide comes from "Ayọ̀mídé," a Yoruba name meaning "Joy has come." Our mission is to bring warmth, relaxation, and joy into every home with beautifully scented, toxin-free candles made with premium ingredients.

The person behind the brand

Mide Candles was founded by Tosin, a fragrance enthusiast with a lifelong passion for scents. Tosin found joy in exploring perfumes, candles, and anything that carried a beautiful aroma—often stepping into stores just to test and identify fragrance notes.

During lock down, this passion turned into a craft, and soon after, into a business. Tosin wanted to create more than just candles—she wanted to craft experiences that bring warmth, comfort, and joy into people’s homes.

With a focus on quality, sustainability, and artistry, every candle is thoughtfully made with premium ingredients to ensure a clean, luxurious burn. Through Mide Candles, Tosin hopes to share her love for fragrance and create scents that become a part of your cherished moments.
